黒漆塗の庄内重ね衣裳箪笥。

雪輪紋の錠前金具には鶴亀や松竹梅といった吉祥紋様が彫り込まれ、幸福と長寿への願いが込められています。ぽってりとした軍配型の引手は手馴染みが良く使いやすい形状です。

全体的に傷も少なく、状態の良い一棹です。
上下段は分けて使えるので、横並びや別々のお部屋に置くなど様々なレイアウトを愉しめます。

Black lacquered chest composed of two parts made in Shonai area, Yamagata pref.

Auspicious motifs are designed on the snow crystal shaped iron fittings, wishing hippiness and longevity.

This piece is in good condition without noticeable damages even though is has small scratches over the years. Top and bottom parts could be used separately.
