雪輪紋形の錠前金具がついた庄内地方の衣裳箪笥です。

庄内地方独特の黒塗りの正面と赤みを帯びた天板や側面。傷も少なく豊かな光沢を帯びています。

元は上下段で重ねられており、こちらはその下段部分。一番最後の画像は上段部分と横並びにしたイメージです。天板高さが揃いますので上段部分とセットでのご使用もおすすめです。

Kimono chest from the Shonai region with snow-crest-shaped lock fittings.

Black lacquered front and reddish top and sides, typical of the Shonai region. There are no major scratches and it has a rich lustre.
The lock fittings are engraved with auspicious designs of cranes, turtles, pine trees and bamboo, wishing for long life and happiness.
Originally stacked in upper and lower sections, this is the lower section. The last image shows it side by side with the upper section. The height of the tops are the same, so it is recommended to use it as a set with the upper section.
