桜紋をあしらった丸い錠金具が愛らしい、山形県米沢地方の衣裳箪笥。

重ねの衣裳箪笥を上下に分け、足元にかろやかな鉄製スタンドを合わせることで、時代箪笥が本来持つ重厚感をほどよく抑えつつ、現代の空間にも取り入れやすい佇まいに仕上げています。

こちらは上段の仕様で、下段にはない小抽斗や片開戸が加わり、表情も豊かに使い勝手の良さが魅力となっています。

A clothing chest from the Yonezawa region of Yamagata, distinguished by its charming round lock plates adorned with cherry‑blossom crests.
Separated from its original stacked form and paired with a light iron stand, it softens the traditional tansu’s weight and suits modern interiors with ease.
This upper section features small drawers and a single‑door compartment not found in the lower half, adding both visual interest and practical versatility.
