鳳凰の金具と閂錠が印象的な仙台地方の衣裳箪笥。
３カ所の錠前金具は桐の葉型になっており、表情豊かな欅の杢目を背景に鳳凰が桐の木に降り立つとされる中国の伝説が再現されています。
威圧感のない高さも魅力です。

Impressive chest for its iron phoenix and a bar lock on the background of beautiful keyaki (zelkova) grain. 　Three locks of drawers are paulownia leaves designed. It is based on the Chinese legend that phoenix fly down on the paulownia tree.　This 90cm height chest is not so tall and suitable for any rooms.

【状態について】
一部使用できない錠前、各引出し内部に染みなどの使用痕がございます。上から三杯目の引出し前板は反りがございますがご使用には差し支えません。閂錠の木部は後年作り変えられた様です。この他に使用上の問題となるダメージはございません。詳細につきましてはお気軽にお問合わせ下さい。
Antique cabinetry in good condition, indicative of age and usage to some degree such as ink spots inside drawers, some disabled locks, and a gap on the backside. With keys.　The lock bar seems that it was remade later. The front plate on the third drawer from the top is warped but it can be used without problems.
This item is also available at the shop in Fuchu, Tokyo.
