米沢蝶金具衣裳箪笥【 YONEZAWA CLOTHING CHEST】[j0963]

 アゲハ蝶の文様金具の衣裳箪笥。
錠前金具を縁どる覆輪には真鍮が使用されており、完成当時は大変に華やかだったことが想像できます。
木瓜型の取手、座金には三階松、隅金具には茶の実が用いられ、それらは婚礼に相応しい煌びやかさを一層引き立たせていたことでしょう。
時が経ち、赤みを帯びた漆は程よい艶となり、深みのある色彩へと変化した美しい衣裳箪笥です。
